Boat/PWC Insurance
A boat insurance policy may cover you and your boat or personal watercraft against liability and damage in the event of a boating accident, including if you injure someone or damage someone else’s property with your boat. Boat insurance can also cover your motorboat, sailboat, or other types of watercraft in the event it is stolen. The parts of a watercraft that are typically covered by a boat insurance policy include the hull, machinery, furnishings, or any equipment that is permanently attached to your boat or personal watercraft (PWC).
Boat insurance helps you enjoy peace of mind as you navigate your boat or personal watercraft (PWC). So if you travel across lakes, rivers, or ocean waters of the United States, this may be a good option for you.
Boat insurance coverage varies based on your boat or watercraft. Typical boat insurance policy includes the following coverage:
For you and your boat:

Collector Auto Insurance
If you are a car collector, you may want to get a collector vehicle insurance quote if your car, truck, or motorcycle is…
- A new exotic car such as a Ferrari, Lotus, Lamborghini, Bentley, etc.
- An older (at least the model year 1979) vehicle that is securely stored and not used as primary transportation
- A new replica car such as a reproduction Shelby Cobra roadster
- A classic military vehicle, hearse, fire truck, amphicar, etc.
Some reasons why you should consider a collector car insurance or motorcycle insurance policy include:
- No vehicle appraisal is required
- Your vehicle will be covered at Agreed Value, which means no depreciation in the event of a claim
- Low deductibles
Commercial Auto Insurance
Commercial vehicle insurance is a policy of physical damage and liability coverages for amounts, situations, and usage not covered by a personal auto insurance policy. This type of business insurance covers many types of commercial vehicles—from automobiles used for business purposes, including company cars, to a wide variety of commercial trucks and vehicles.
Vehicles Commercial Auto Insurance Covers
Box trucks, food trucks, work vans, and service utility trucks are just a few examples of larger commercial vehicles which will require a commercial auto insurance policy, including coverage for employees operating the vehicle and possibly the equipment inside. You may have heard of this coverage referred to as commercial auto insurance, commercial car insurance, truck insurance, or fleet insurance. While commercial vehicle insurance is most commonly associated with trucks or more recognized work vehicles, regular cars and automobiles may also require a commercial auto policy if they’re used for business purposes.
Condo Insurance
Condo insurance is a coverage that helps protect against losses and repair costs for a condominium unit. Condo insurance often provides protection for theft, vandalism, fire damage, water damage, and more.
Condos are a great alternative to renting an apartment or owning a single-family home and they have their own unique insurance needs. But if we may be so bold, after years of dealing with a little, talking green guy, we know a thing or two about “unique.”
Co-op Insurance
Co-op insurance can help protect the things in your unit that are a big part of what makes your home sweet home. With proper coverage, you can have peace of mind.
GEICO Co-op Insurance helps you get the best coverage possible for your home, whether it’s a cooperative (co-op), a single-family house, or a townhouse.

Flood Insurance
Homes and businesses located in communities that participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) are eligible for flood insurance at a modest cost through the federal government. Under this program, insurance companies issue flood insurance and the federal government administers the program.
Flood insurance normally requires a 30-day waiting period from the time you sign up before the coverage is effective. Exceptions are only made for certain circumstances, such as if you’re purchasing a home and the closing is in less than 30 days.
Homeowners Insurance
The Homeowners Insurance coverage is an important responsibility of owning a home, as it adds a layer of financial protection for what may be you and your family’s biggest investment. There are different kinds of homeowners insurance policies, so it’s important to understand what homeowners insurance is and how a homeowners policy actually works. You really need this type of GEICO Insurance if you are a homeowner.
Life Insurance
Life insurance helps financially protect your family in the event of your death. This insurance policy is all about protecting your loved ones when you are no more. There are 2 main types of Life Insurance policies. They are the term Life Insurance and the Whole Life Insurance.
Why You Need A Life Insurance
What would happen if you weren’t around to ensure your family’s daily needs are being met? Life insurance can ensure that in your absence, the financial needs of your loved ones are taken care of long into the future.
And even if your company offers you life insurance through work, it’s a good idea to purchase your own independent policy.
Mobile Home Insurance
If you own a mobile or manufactured home, this type of GEICO Insurance can help protect your home, adjacent structures, and personal property.
Mobile and manufactured homes are essentially the same things; a manufactured home is just what the government calls them if they were built after June 15, 1976. So, a mobile home policy should work regardless of which name you use for your castle.

Motorcycle Insurance
Motorcycle insurance will help protect you if you’re involved in an accident and is required by most states. The coverage limits required vary by state. Check with your local Motor Vehicle Department to find information about your state.
Overseas Insurance
Overseas insurance is insurance for your car, motorcycle, and personal property that’s available while you are living outside of the United States.
GEICO has provided overseas insurance through its affiliate, GEICO Financial Services GmbH since 1960. GEICO Financial Services GmbH acts as your agent and arranges coverage from high-quality overseas insurers who are licensed by the country you’ll be living in.
Coverage is available to members of the military, government employees, expatriates, and third-country nationals. Eligibility restrictions may apply in some countries.
Renters Insurance
A renters insurance policy protects you and your belongings from the unexpected. Think about it, could you afford to replace all your personal items if they were destroyed in a fire? A renters insurance policy can help cover the expenses, up to your limits, to help replace your personal property and help you with temporary living expenses if your apartment is damaged by a covered loss and you cannot stay there.
If you’re a renter, you may not think you need insurance at all. (Your landlord already has insurance on the building, right?) But you may not realize that your landlord’s policy doesn’t cover any of your personal property. What would happen if:
- Your apartment building burned down
- A thief broke into your town house
- A guest slipped and injured himself in your kitchen
- The home you’re renting suffered water damage

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance can help protect your vacation or trips from unexpected things happening. You can travel without trip insurance but doing so brings greater risk if something goes wrong or you encounter unexpected delays. Flight insurance or trip insurance coverage can include things like flight cancellation, lost luggage, trip cancellation, emergency medical transportation, and more.
This type of GEICO Insurance pays covered expenses when a traveler’s trip is interrupted or has to be canceled, if a traveler gets sick or injured, or if their luggage is delayed, damaged, or lost. Travel insurance may even cover flight delays and cancellations, or missed connections. The GEICO Insurance Agency, Inc. has teamed up with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) to help you insure your trip.
Umbrella Insurance
Umbrella insurance is extra insurance that provides protection beyond existing limits and coverages of other policies. Umbrella insurance can provide coverage for injuries, property damage, certain lawsuits, and personal liability situations.
How does an umbrella insurance policy work?
An umbrella insurance policy helps protect your assets and your future in two important ways:
- Umbrella insurance may provide coverage when your homeowners, auto, and boat insurance policies limits are exhausted.
- Umbrella insurance provides coverage for claims that may be excluded by other liability policies including claims like false arrest, libel, slander, and liability coverage on rental units you own.
Jewelry Insurance
A specialized jewelry insurance policy provides comprehensive coverage. Coverage against scenarios—like mysterious disappearance (or unexplained loss)—that may not be covered by standard homeowners or renters insurance or by warranties.
